Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

The Padres (11-9) scored fewer runs than the Cincinnati Reds (6-12), 4-1, in the first of four games at Petco Park. Chris Paddack (0-1, 2.25) pitched six innings, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Joey Votto led off the game with a home run in the first inning. In the fifth inning, Tucker Barnhart hit a two-run home run. Jesse Winker hit a solo home run in the ninth inning.
Tanner Roark (1-0, 3.60) gave up a run on four hits and two walks while striking out five in five and a third innings. Luis Urias scored on Manny Machado’s ground-rule double in the sixth inning.
