The Padres (32-19) were defeated by the Milwaukee Brewers (25-25) by a score of 6-5 in ten innings in the finale of their four-game series at American Family Field. Ryan Weathers (2-1, 1.31) threw four shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks with five strikeouts. Willy Adames drove in Daniel Robertson with a single and Lorenzo Cain scored on Asivail Garcia‘s single & two errors (fielding & throwing) by Fernando Tatis Jr. Adames hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning. Omar Navarez scored on a Jackie Bradley single in the tenth inning.

Adrian Houser (3-5, 4.07) allowed one hit and a walk with four strikeouts in five scoreless innings. Tommy Pham scored on a double by Tatis Jr. and Eric Hosmer hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning. Jurickson Profar came home on a Tatis Jr. single and Manny Machado‘s pinch-hit double drove in Tatis Jr. in the eighth inning.
