The Padres (32-18) defeated the Milwaukee Brewers (24-25) in the third of four games at American Family Field by a score of 2-1 in ten innings. Chris Paddack (2-2, 3.61) allowed one run on two hits and no walks with two strikeouts in six innings. Eric Lauer hit a solo home run in the third inning.

Lauer (1-1, 2.45) gave up one run on four hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings. Tommy Pham scored on a Fernando Tatis Jr. sacrifice fly in the first inning. Wil Myers started the tenth inning on second base and scored on a single by Victor Caratini.
