Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of trying to login to Zoom meetings with fellow Padres fans. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were stuck in quarantine.

Losing Pitcher: Chris Paddack (4-5, 4.73)
The Padres (24-23) scored fewer runs than the San Francisco Giants (29-28), 5-4 in seven innings, in the first game of a doubleheader and their four-game series at Oracle Park. Chris Paddack (4-5, 4.73) allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk with three strikeouts in three and two-thirds innings. Brandon Crawford hit a solo home run in the second inning. In the fourth inning, Wilmer Flores hit a solo home run, Evan Longoria came home on a Joey Bart single, and Mike Yastrzemski hit a two-run home run.
Tyler Anderson (4-3, 4.37) gave up two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four over six-plus innings. Tommy Pham‘s double drove in Austin Nola in the second inning. In the seventh inning, a single by Fernando Tatis Jr. drove in Jurickson Profar, Trent Grisham scored on a single by Manny Machado, and Eric Hosmer‘s sacrifice fly drove in Tatis Jr.
