Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

Winning Pitcher: Logan Allen (2-0, 1.38)
Losing Pitcher: Jimmy Yacabonis (1-2, 5.96)
The Padres (39-40) scored more runs than the Baltimore Orioles (22-57) in the first of two games at Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Logan Allen (2-0, 1.38) allowed two runs on eight hits and two walk while striking out five in six innings. Hanser Alberto scored on Trey Mancini’s single in the first inning. Dwight Smith Jr. doubled in the third inning to drive in Jonathan Villar. Richie Martin hit a solo home run in the seventh inning.
Jimmy Yacabonis (1-2, 5.96) gave up five runs in two and two-thirds innings on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Manuel Margot singled to drive in Francisco Mejia & Ian Kinsler and Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a two-run home run in the second inning. Manny Machado hit a solo home run in the third inning. In the fourth inning, Margot hit a solo home run and Machado singled to drive in Tatis Jr. Mejia hit a solo home run in the fifth inning.
