Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

The Padres (61-69) scored more runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (86-47), 4-3, in the first of three games at Petco Park. Eric Lauer (7-8, 4.48) allowed three runs on six hits and four walks while striking out eight in six innings. Justin Turner hit a solo home run in the third inning. Max Muncy scored on Turner’s double in the fifth inning. Enrique Hernandez hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.

Dustin May (1-3, 4.07) gave up four runs in five and a third innings on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Greg Garcia scored on a single by Eric Hosmer in the fourth inning. In the sixth inning, a single by Josh Naylor scored Austin Allen & Garcia and Naylor scored on a Manny Machado ground out.
