Chris Paddack (4-5, 4.69) allowed five runs on eight hits and two walks with two strikeouts in two and a third innings. Josh Rojas singled to drive in Daulton Varsho & Nick Ahmed and a double by Josh VanMeter scored Rojas in the second inning. Ahmed’s third inning double drove in Pavin Smith & Christian Walker.
