Chris Paddack (7-7, 5.07) was charged with four runs on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts in four and two-thirds innings. Cody Bellinger scored on a Gavin Lux double and Lux came home on a Mookie Betts sacrifice fly in the third inning. Betts hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning.
Walker Buehler (14-3, 2.32) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts in seven innings. Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a two-run home run with Manny Machado on base in the fourth inning. Machado singled to drive in Adam Frazier and Machado scored on a single by Tatis Jr. in the eighth inning.
