The Hangover 2021 – Games 131-132

Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an entire year of watching baseball from anywhere other than the ballpark. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a reminder of what we may have missed while most of us were still staying at home.

Padres 5, Angels 0

Winning Pitcher: Joe Musgrove (9-8, 2.85)

Losing Pitcher: Cooper Criswell (0-1, 20.25)

The Padres (69-61) defeated the Los Angeles Angels (63-67) in the first game of two at Angel Stadium by a score of 5-0. Joe Musgrove (9-8, 2.85) pitched a complete game shutout, allowing three hits and two walks with nine strikeouts.

Cooper Criswell (0-1, 20.25) gave up three runs on six hits and no walks or strikeouts in one and a third innings. Jurickson Profar tripled to drive in Trent Grisham & Ha-Seong Kim and Jake Marisnick drove in Profar with a single in the second inning. Austin Nola‘s single scored Manny Machado and Eric Hosmer scored on a Grisham groundout & throwing error in the fifth inning.
