Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an entire year of watching baseball from anywhere other than the ballpark. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a reminder of what we may have missed while most of us were still staying at home.

Game 11

Padres 6, Pirates 2

Winning Pitcher: Yu Darvish (1-0, 3.06)

Losing Pitcher: Luis Oviedo (0-1, 11.57)

The Padres (8-3) defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 6-2 in the first game of four at PNC Park. Yu Darvish (1-0, 3.06) allowed one run on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts over seven innings. Adam Frazier came in to score on a Phillip Evans double in the third inning. Wilmer Difo scored on Frazier’s sacrifice fly in the eighth inning.

Trevor Cahill (0-1, 8.00) gave up one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight in five innings. Wil Myers‘ single in the first inning drove in Jake Cronenworth. Myers hit a two-run home run with Manny Machado on base and Tommy Pham scored on a double by Victor Caratini in the sixth inning. Jurickson Profar and Machado scored on a Myers single in the seventh inning.
