The Padres (11-9) scored fewer runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (12-8), 11-2, in the final game of four at Dodger Stadium. Chris Paddack (2-2, 4.91) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk with one strikeout in three innings. Corey Seager hit a two-run home run and A.J. Pollock hit a solo home run in the first inning. Mookie Betts hit a two-run home run in the second inning. Justin Turner scored on Pollock’s double in the third inning. Austin Barnes hit a two-run home run and Betts hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Betts hit another two-run home run in the fifth inning.
Julio Urías (2-0, 2.53) gave up two runs on five hits and no walks with three strikeouts in six and one-third innings. Tommy Pham and Eric Hosmer hit back-to-back solo home runs in the first inning.
