The Hangover 2020 – Games 14-16

Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of trying to login to Zoom meetings with fellow Padres fans. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were stuck in quarantine.

The Padres (8-6) scored more runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (5-9) in the first of three games at Petco Park, 3-0. Zach Davies (2-1) shutout the Diamondbacks over five and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out six.

Luke Weaver (0-3, 12.19) gave up two runs on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts in three innings. Fernando Tatís Jr. led off the first inning with a solo home run. Jake Cronenworth led off the second inning with a solo home run. Edward Olivares hit a pinch-hit solo home run in the fifth inning.
