The Padres (70-92) were shut out by the Jingle Bells of Arizona (85-77), 1-0, to drop all three games at Chase Field in the final series of 2019. Michel Baez (1-1, 3.03) started his first Major League game, giving up no run & no hits with a walk and four strikeouts in two innings. Tim Locastro singled to drive in Christian Walker in the ninth inning.
Taijuan Walker (0-0, 0.00) pitched one inning to start his first game since coming back from Tommy John surgery, giving up one hit and no walks with one strikeout.

You probably noticed the absence of tweets from all three games. I’m tired. This is mind-numbing, especially by the end of the season. And, quite frankly, you guys didn’t have anything worth highlighting this series. Oh well.
