Joey Lucchesi (10-9, 4.28) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in four innings. Mike Moustakas scored on Ryan Braun‘s double in the first inning. Keston Hiura scored on a wild pitch in the third inning. Lorenzo Cain hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Travis Shaw & Trent Grisham scored on a Grisham double and a throwing error by Austin Hedges.

Jordan Lyles (11-8, 4.17) gave up one run on three hits and three walks while striking out nine over four and two-thirds innings. Eric Hosmer hit a solo home run to lead off the fourth inning.
