The Padres (12-10) defeated the Los Angeles dodgers by a score of 6-1 in the second game of four at dodger Stadium. Yu Darvish (2-1, 2.27) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out nine over seven innings. Max Muncy singled in the first inning to drive in Mookie Betts.

Clayton Kershaw (3-2, 2.56) gave up three runs on five hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in seven innings. Wil Myers hit a solo home run in the second inning. Fernando Tatis Jr. hit two solo home runs in the third and fifth innings. In the ninth inning, Tommy Pham drove in Myers with a single, Jake Cronenworth scored on a ground out by Jurickson Profar, and Pham scored on single by Tatis Jr.
