Zach Davies (0-1, 7.20) allowed four runs on nine hits and no walks with three strikeouts in five innings. A.J. Pollock & Austin Barnes scored on Corey Seager‘s double and Seager scored on a single by Max Muncy in the third inning. Cody Bellinger hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Mookie Betts scored on a Justin Turner sacrifice fly and Seager scored on a Muncy single in the seventh inning.
Clayton Kershaw (1-1, 4.50) gave up three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out six over six innings. Wil Myers‘ double drove in Tommy Pham in the second inning. Manny Machado and Eric Hosmer hit back-to-back solo home runs in the sixth inning.
