The Padres (31-17) scored more runs, 3-1, than the San Francisco Giants at Petco to complete a sweep of a doubleheader and a three-game sweep. Garrett Richards (2-2, 4.27) allowed one run on two hits and two walks with three strikeouts in four and a third innings. Brandon Crawford scored on a Mike Yastrzemski double in the second inning.

Logan Webb (2-3, 4.96) gave up one run in four innings on four hits and a walk while striking out five. Wil Myers hit a solo home run in the second inning. Jurickson Profar singled to drive in Jake Cronenworth and Profar scored on Manny Machado‘s single in the fifth inning.
