Cal Quantrill (2-2, 4.21) shut out the Braves over six innings on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Freddie Freeman hit a three-run home run and Josh Donaldson scored on a Nick Markakis single in the eighth inning.
Mike Soroka (10-1, 2.24) gave up no runs on six hits and a walk while striking out nine in seven innings. Josh Naylor‘s bases-loaded single drove in Fernando Tatís Jr. in the eighth inning.
