The Padres (70-89) were shut out by the Los Angeles Dodgers (103-56), 1-0, in the third game of three at Petco Park and the final Padres home game for 2019. Joey Lucchesi (10-10, 4.18) gave up one run on three hits and two walk with six strikeouts over six innings. Chris Taylor scored on a single by Max Muncy in the sixth inning.

Clayton Kershaw (16-5, 3.05) shut the Padres out over six innings on two hits and a walk while striking out seven.
