Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

The Padres (64-76) scored fewer runs than the Colorado Rockies (60-82), 3-2, in the first of three games at Petco Park. Dinelson Lamet (2-4, 3.95) gave up three runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out four in six innings. Trevor Story scored on a Charlie Blackmon single and Blackmon came home on Ryan McMahon‘s ground out in the first inning. Dom Nuñez scored on a Manny Machado throwing error following a single by Story in the second inning.

Tim Melville (2-1, 3.66) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over five and two-thirds innings. Eric Hosmer hit a two-run single to drive in Greg Garcia & Nick Martini in the third inning.
