Cron hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Chris Owings hit a pinch-hit solo home run in the seventh inning. Garrett Hampson scored on a groundball force out by Raimel Tapia in the ninth inning.
Jon Gray (6-6, 3.77) allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out seven over six innings. Trent Grisham scored on Victor Caratini‘s double play groundout in the second inning.
