Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of trying to login to Zoom meetings with fellow Padres fans. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were stuck in quarantine.

The Padres (34-21) scored fewer runs, 4-2, than the Los Angeles Angels (25-31) in the first of two games at Petco Park. Zach Davies (7-4, 2.85) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings. Max Stassi hit a solo home run in the second inning and a two-run home run in the sixth inning. Taylor Ward scored on a sacrifice bunt by Luis Rengifo in the eighth inning.

Griffin Canning (2-3, 3.99) gave up one run on two hits and five walks while striking out ten in six innings. Trent Grisham scored on Eric Hosmer‘s sacrifice fly in the first inning. Grisham scored on a double by Manny Machado in the eighth inning.
