Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

The Padres (48-55) scored fewer runs than the San Francisco Giants (53-51), 2-1 in eleven innings, in the first game of three at Petco Park. Joey Lucchesi (7-5, 4.12) allowed one run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight in six innings. Donovan Solano‘s double scored Tyler Austin in the third inning. Pablo Sandoval hit a solo home run in the eleventh inning.

Jeff Samardzija (7-8, 3.95) gave up one run on four hits and three walk with six strikeout over six innings. Austin Hedges hit a solo home run in the fifth inning.
