This week the guys sit down with Carlos Rico, a freelance journalist by day, and professional DJ by night. Carlos works with the National Association for Hispanic Journalists SD/TJ Chapter that helps to bring the stories from our region’s Latin community from both sides of the border to the forefront.

And because of his musical background, we thought he would be the perfect guest to dig into some of the batter walk up songs the Padres are featuring this year. For this round we covered the musical choices of Ian Kinsler, Tatis Jr, Manny Machado, Franmil Reyes, and Chris Paddack.

Also, Carlos hosts a monthly Latin Day Party at Park and Rec in University Heights called Takis Sundays from 2 to 8pm. Check it out on July 21st. Nick will be there celebrating his birthday! Come say hi!
