The Padres (40-40) scored more runs than the Baltimore Orioles (22-58), 10-5, to take both games of their two-game series at Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Matt Strahm (3-6, 4.94) allowed four runs on five hits and no walks while striking out nine in six innings. Hanser Alberto scored on a Renato Nunez double in the first inning. Jonathan Villar hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning. Pedro Severino hit a solo home run in the sixth inning. Nunez scored on a bases-loaded walk to Steve Wilkerson in the eighth inning.

Dylan Bundy (3-10, 4.91) gave up five runs on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts in four innings. Greg Garcia hit a two-run home run and Manuel Margot scored on an Eric Hosmer ground out in the second inning. Franmil Reyes hit a solo home run in the third inning. Reyes hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Hosmer hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning. Hunter Renfroe hit a solo home run in the seventh inning. Fernando Tatis Jr. scored on a Hosmer single in the eighth inning.
