Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

The Padres (11-7) scored fewer runs than the Colorado Rockies (5-12), 5-2, in the first of two games at Petco Park. Joey Lucchesi (2-2, 5.06) pitched seven innings, giving up five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four. Ian Desmond hit a two-run double in the first inning. Nolan Arenado hit a solo home run in the sixth inning. Desmond hit a solo home run and Drew Butera scored on a Charlie Blackmon ground out in the seventh inning.

Antonio Senzatela (1-0, 1.35) allowed one run on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six and a third innings. Franmil Reyes hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Wil Myers hit a solo home run in the ninth inning.
