Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after a couple of days of partying with fellow Padres fans in the Gaslamp. The occasional memory refresher can come in handy. Here’s a friendly reminder of what we may have missed while we were drinking.

Winning Pitcher: Zach Davies (10-7, 3.70)

Losing Pitcher: Garrett Richards (0-1, 7.36)

The Padres (68-82) scored fewer runs than the Milwaukee Brewers (81-69), 5-1, in the first game of four at Miller Park. Garrett Richards (0-1, 7.36) allowed three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out five in three and two-thirds innings. Cory Spangenberg singled in the first to drive in Ryan Braun. Spangenberg hit a triple in the fourth to score Braun & Eric Thames. Travis Shaw hit a solo home run in the fifth inning. Orlando Arcia‘s double in the sixth inning brought Lorenzo Cain in to score.

Zach Davies (10-7, 3.70) gave up one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings. Manny Machado scored on an Eric Hosmer double in the fourth inning.
